Chitwan: In a recent statement, Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat expressed confidence in the improving state of Nepal's economy, citing positive economic indicators.

Addressing the media at Bharatpur Airport today, Minister Mahat refuted claims that Nepal lacked a promising future for investment, asserting that a conducive investment environment has now been firmly established.

Despite attempts to undermine the investment climate, Minister Mahat highlighted the nation's comfortable economic state. He stated that investors are now more self-assured, emphasizing a bright future for those who choose to invest in Nepal by identifying lucrative sectors.

Encouraging all to invest without hesitation, he clarified that the government is dedicated to policies that support investments in profitable industries.

Minister Mahat noted a gradual rebound in the share market and a significant influx of tourists into Nepal. He also pointed out improvements in the real estate business, highlighting the potential for profit through infrastructure-focused investments.

Specifically, he urged investment in the tourism sector, which he believes holds immense promise. Minister Mahat commended the recent decisions of the Nepal Rastra Bank, stating that they have effectively addressed concerns raised by entrepreneurs.
